1. About these terms

These terms form the agreement between you (the client) and Patagonia Line for any guided fly fishing trip or package you book with us. Placing a deposit confirms that you have read and accepted them.

2. Enquiries and bookings

Sending an enquiry or request through the website is not a confirmed booking. We will reply with a proposal and availability. A booking is confirmed only once we receive your deposit and send written confirmation of your dates.

3. Prices

All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD) and are current for the 2026/27 season:

  • Full-day private guide — USD 420 per rod when 2 or 3 anglers share a guide, or USD 650 for a single angler.
  • Multi-day packages — from USD 1,080 per angler per day, all-inclusive.
  • Paine & Pesca combo — from USD 7,900 per angler.

Prices may change until your booking is confirmed. Once confirmed in writing, the agreed price is held for your trip.

4. Deposit and payment

A 30% deposit confirms and holds your dates. The balance is due 60 days before arrival. We accept USD bank transfer (preferred) or major credit cards (a card surcharge applies). For bookings made within 60 days of arrival, full payment is due at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel, the following applies, based on the selected rate:

  • More than 30 days before the trip — no charge.
  • 15 days before the trip — 25% of the trip value.
  • 7 days or less before the trip — 100% of the trip value.

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical care and evacuation. We are happy to suggest providers we have worked with.

6. Weather, water and changes by us

Fly fishing is an outdoor activity that depends on weather and water conditions. To give you the best possible fishing we may change the rivers, lakes or daily itinerary at our discretion. We do not offer refunds for weather, wind or river conditions, as fishing still takes place. If we ever have to cancel a confirmed day for reasons within our control, we will reschedule it or refund that day.

7. Licences and regulations

Every angler needs a Sernapesca sport fishing licence; we arrange it for you. You agree to follow your guide's instructions, Chilean fishing regulations and our catch-and-release practices, which protect the wild fishery you have come to enjoy.

8. Health, fitness and personal risk

Wading rivers and travelling in remote terrain carry inherent risks. You confirm that you are in adequate health to take part and that you have disclosed any relevant medical condition. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own travel and medical insurance.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by Chilean law, Patagonia Line is not liable for personal injury, illness, loss or damage to personal equipment, or for services provided by third parties such as airlines, lodges and transfer operators, except where caused by our proven negligence. Our liability is limited to the value of the trip you booked.

10. Conduct and safety

Your guide may pause or end a fishing day, without refund, if conduct is unsafe, illegal, or impaired by alcohol or drugs. Your safety and the safety of the team always comes first.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Puerto Natales, Magallanes Region.
