1. Who we are

Patagonia Line is a guided fly fishing operator based in Huerto 131-B, Camino 1, Puerto Natales, Magallanes Region, Chile. We are the party responsible for the personal data described here. For any question about this policy or your data, write to benjamin@patagonialine.com or message +56 9 9584 9201.

2. What we collect

When you send an enquiry or booking request through our contact form, we collect the information you choose to give us, which may include:

  • Name and country of residence
  • Email address and phone / WhatsApp number
  • Preferred dates, party size and trip of interest
  • Fly fishing experience and any notes you add
  • Passport number — only when needed to arrange your Sernapesca fishing licence and transfers
  • Wader and wading-boot size — so we can have gear ready for you
  • Dietary or medical notes you choose to share for your safety and comfort

We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking on this website. The one third-party tool we use is our newsletter sign-up form, provided by Brevo (see the Cookies section below) — and only if you choose to subscribe. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

3. Why we use it

We use your data only to:

  • Reply to your enquiry and prepare a tailored proposal
  • Arrange your fishing licence, gear, transfers and lodge nights
  • Keep in touch with you about your trip before and during your stay

The legal basis is your consent and the steps needed to provide the service you requested.

4. How we store it

Booking requests are stored in our database provider (Supabase) and accessed only by Patagonia Line staff who arrange your trip. We keep your data only as long as needed to plan and deliver your trip, plus a reasonable period afterwards for our records, and then delete it.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with the partners needed to run your trip — for example Sernapesca for your licence, our lodge and transfer providers — and, if you subscribe to our newsletter, with Brevo (our email provider). Only the minimum required. We may also disclose data if required by Chilean law.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email benjamin@patagonialine.com and we will respond promptly.

7. Cookies

This site uses the bare minimum. We store a single value in your browser (via local storage) to remember that you have seen and accepted our cookie notice, so it does not show again. We do not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies.

Our newsletter sign-up form is embedded from Brevo. When the form loads it fetches scripts and fonts from Brevo and may set its own cookies; if you submit it, your email is sent to Brevo for processing under Brevo's Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in our emails.

Our private admin area uses a session cookie from Supabase purely to keep staff logged in; it is not set for visitors. You can clear these at any time from your browser settings. If we ever add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be reflected here.
